Katherine Cosmetics Pati Dubroff Margot Robbie Glowing Makeup Look Spring 2018

ROSY GLOW BY PATI DUBROFF

We’re obsessed with the natural, dewy looks that celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff created for actress Margot Robbie this award season. Seriously, how gorgeous does she look here at the BAFTAs?

The key to creating this dreamy look? Pati said it’s the blush. She suggests applying a creamy blush (in a color that’s right for your skin tone) to the apple of your cheeks right after you apply your foundation. After the rest of the face is done, apply a dusting of setting powder.

Katherine Cosmetics Purple Smokey Eye Look for Spring Celebrity Makeup Artist Secrets Sage Maitri Julia Michaels

PURPLE SMOKEY EYE BY SAGE MAITRI

We love this purple smoky eye makeup look that makeup artist Sage Maitri created for singer Julia Michaels Grammy’s appearance. Sage said her inspiration for this lighter, springtime version of this classic look was 1990s supermodel Christy Turlington.

To give the look a modern feel, Sage said to stay away from matte eye shadows like those used in the 1990s. Instead, opt for products with luminosity.

Katherine Cosmetics Celebrity Makeup Artists Secrets for Spring Olivia Culpo Brows Liz Casellanos

BIG BROWS BY LIZ CASELLANOS

Big, thick, natural-looking brows are having a moment this season! For this divine romantic look, celebrity makeup artist Liz Casellanos used a brow gel to enhance model Olivia Culpo’s already full brows.

Don’t have bushy brows? You can fake it! The key to getting a more natural look is to start filling in the brows with a pencil or gel a couple hairs in, and to leave the inner corners of the brows untouched.

Katherine Cosmetics Celebrity Makeup Artist Jennifer Lawrence Cat Eye

AMPED UP CAT EYE BY HUNG VANNGO

The classic cat eye look is getting a revamped this spring. And we’re crushing on this fierce look created by NYC-based celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo for actress Jennifer Lawrence. This metallic version is created by lining the complete eye in black eyeliner and then smudging out the thick wing with a warm brown shadow flecked with glitter.

Hung’s secret? Never sticking to one texture. Incorporating matte, shimmer and metallic helps create dimension and tricks the eye so it doesn’t look flat. He also said he likes to apply blush, bronzer, and eye shadow upwards direction, instead of out or down.
