We’re pretty obsessed with puppies over here at Katherine Natural Cosmetics! And we know you are too. That’s why we’re teaming up with Tender Loving Canines this month to spread some serious puppy love. We hope you’ll join us!

PUPPIES, MAKE UP, AND GIVING BACK … IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER?

All March long, we’re donating $1 from every purchase of our bestselling Siena’s Highlighter to Tender Loving Canines. This amazing organization is helping improve lives by training and placing service dogs.

We sure can’t imagine of a better way to honor the product’s namesake: Katherine’s super sweet golden retriever, Siena! It’s because of her — and all the fur babies in our lives – that our all-natural, luxury cosmetics are always cruelty free

Meet Tender Loving Canines Assistance Dogs

We’re pretty sure there’s nothing as beautiful as the unconditional love you get from a dog. And that’s why we’re so excited to be teaming up with Tender Loving Canines. This incredible non-profit is helping transform the lives of people with disabilities — and their families – by matching them with their very own assistance dog.

So check out some of their programs below. And get ready for your heart to melt!

Leash On Life

The Leash-On-Life program trains and places service dogs with people with autism. These specially-trained assistance dogs help their owners with some of the challenging aspects of autism. This includes social and communications skills, and Sensory Integration Processing Disorder.

Wounded Warriors

The At Ease program is designed to help heal our nation’s heroes by providing service dogs to wounded service members and veterans. These loving service dogs help our Wounded Warrior with PTSD, mobility limitations, and traumatic brain injury.

POOCH

POOCH, or Prisoners Overcoming Obstacles & Creating Hope, gives prisoners the the chance to learn how to train a service dog. Research shows that inmates who train dogs are less likely to re-offend. And service dogs trained in these prison programs have a higher success rate for placement. Talk about a win-win!

TLC Rescue

This heartwarming program gives homeless dogs – and some of San Diego’s most at-risk teens – a second chance at life. TLC Rescue helps incarcerated girls train homeless shelter dogs. These dogs go on to eventually become service dogs for Wounded Warriors and people with autism.
