It’s sad but true. Summer is almost over! And that means our super star Katherine Cosmetics editorial intern, Tyler Bui, is heading back to college. Boo hoo!!

Here at Katherine Cosmetics, we all adore this incredibly talented, smart and hard-working #Katherinegirl. And we’re sure going to miss her! But we also can’t wait to see what great things are coming next for this accomplished equestrian and up-and-coming writer.

Hey beauties! Tyler here, your Katherine Girl summer editorial intern.

Although summer is sadly coming to a close for me, I am so happy to say that I have had one of the best summers yet — all thanks to the Katherine Natural Cosmetics family!!

I have been a Katherine Girl for three years now. But after spending a summer getting to know the Katherine family, and witnessing all the hard work put into #Allthingskatherine, I have such a deeper appreciation for this incredible all-natural makeup brand and all the people behind it.

Spending my first week of summer in San Diego at the Katherine Cosmetics headquarters, I had the opportunity to meet and learn from the whole team. Being able to witness first hand all the hard work and creativity put into every aspect of Katherine Cosmetics made me appreciate the brand on a whole new level.

The thing that impacted and influenced me the most, though, was all the amazing people who work and support Katherine Cosmetics. Each person is so different, yet they all embody what it means to be a Katherine Girl: strong, confident, hard working, and dedicated to helping the community!

Getting to know Katherine Cosmetics founder, Katherine “Annie” Finch, and learn about her story has influenced me in more ways than I could ever imagine. And I am eternally grateful to have her as a role model and boss. Seeing how she achieved her dreams solely through hard work and dedication motivated me to work harder to achieve my dreams, as well. Her positivity, spirit, and love for everyone around her reminded me to be mindful of all the amazing things life has to offer.

Being given the opportunity to work on the Katherine Cosmetics team this summer has been one of the best experiences of my life. Coming into this summer, I had little knowledge of the editorial world and did not know any of the team well. Annie and everyone at Katherine Cosmetics welcomed me with open arms arms and taught me not only skills to improve my writing and editorial skills, but also influenced me through their work ethic and willingness to learn and improve.

After being able to publish my blogs and write all summer on behalf of Katherine Cosmetics, I have fallen in love with my job as a writer. And I know that this is what I want to do in my future. I am so excited to see what the future holds and cannot thank the Katherine family for the support and encouragement they have had on my life.
